Director of Social Media and Graphic Design
This position responds directly to the Vice-President of Communications. The role consists of managing our Facebook and Instagram accounts. You will be in charge of making graphics for social media pages, as well as advertisements when necessary. You will also assist VP Comms by answering direct messages to the society. Weekly commitment varies based on time of year.
Director of Inter-Club Affairs
This Position responds to both the President and Vice-President Communications. The role consists of working closely with other clubs with similar interests to the Law Society, aiding with preparations of joint club ventures, including but limited to a formal and professional panels. Weekly commitment varies depending on the timeline of events.
Director of Finance
This position responds directly to the Vice-President of Finance. The position consists of assisting with any financial activities designated by the VP Finance, including but limited to managing the budget. Weekly commitment varies throughout the school year.
Director of Event Planning
This position responds directly to the Vice-President Internal. The position consists of planning events within the Law Society and working closely with all Directors and VPs. You will be in charge of finding venues, booking rooms, contacting suppliers and guest speakers. Weekly commitment varies depending on the timeline and magnitude of events being planned.
Director of Law School Admissions
This position responds directly to the Vice-President Academic. The position consists of contacting various Canadian law schools to arrange tours, presentations, and assist with the preparation of the law school fair at Carleton. This position works closely with other society directors to facilitate events. The weekly commitment varies depending on the timeline of events being planned.
This position responds to the Vice-President of Membership. The role is specifically for a first-year student who is interested in working with their peers to increase first-year involvement within the society. As well as advocate for first-year needs during society meetings. The weekly commitment varies based on the time of year.
